Rough start this morning--- had plans to go to Hopewell Library's Toddler Rock Class which sounded super fun- we got there right on time, turns out there are two Hopewell libraries- and only one is part of the mercer county library system- and the Hopewell branch isn't even in Hopewell- it's in Pennington- so after unloading and reloading we got back in the car and headed to Pennington for their story time. I was bummed because it seemed pretty lame compared to the Toddler Rock Class- but I have to say we had a great time. Bentley really loved playing with the table train set before story time - they read stories, played games, played with musical instruments, did the freeze dance, and did a really adorable craft! Harlow enjoyed crawling all over the place- girl does not want to sit still these days! On our way out Bentley saw little steps that he climbed up and peered into a tank. The tank held a (gasp!) tarantula! I normally would be sick over it and not go near such a thing, but this look of wonder in his eyes - it killed me-- I had to just get over myself and act like it was the coolest thing in the world - because at that moment it really was for him.
Can't wait for our kids' music round class tomorrow!
